The Eserlauf followed by the Eserfest is the annual highlight of the Eser season. Every year, up to 100 runners run their laps in the green spaces at the Rote Tor in Augsburg to raise money for the Eser and then fortify themselves with barbecued food, salads and drinks at the Eserfest.
