Standards and Engineering Quality.

How we develop, document, and support software throughout its lifecycle.

1. Requirements Management & Traceability

Seamless integration from requirements all the way through to the finished tests and delivery artifacts. Our processes and tools adapt flexibly to each project.

2. Architecture & Design

Explicit architectural documentation and clear decision-making protocols. We strictly separate concerns between user interface logic, data processing, and communication layers.

3. Test Strategy & Verification

Automated test pyramids and system tests under realistic operating conditions. We provide the test documentation as an artifact.

4. Configuration & Version Management

Reproducible builds, fully traceable release paths, and the ability to roll back at any time are standard in each of our repositories.

5. Security Analyses & Hardening

Proactive threat modeling and vulnerability analysis. We harden systems in accordance with established security recommendations.

6. Documentation & Lifecycle Maintenance

Software is a long-lasting system artifact. We ensure long-term maintainability and actively manage obsolescence.

Standards in Detail

Standard

Project Experience & Implementation

DO-178C
DO-178C specifies requirements for software in aviation-certified systems (Design Assurance Levels A through E). We are familiar with this methodology, particularly with regard to traceability, test coverage, and configuration management, and we closely follow these principles in the aerospace sector.
EMAR
EMAR is the military framework for airworthiness in Europe. We are familiar with the core requirements and consistently align our processes with them in defense aerospace contexts.
STANAG 4586
STANAG 4586 defines interoperability between UAVs, ground stations, and command and control systems. We use this reference architecture as a guide for our aerospace projects.
ISO 26262
ISO 26262 governs functional safety in the automotive sector (ASIL A through D). We have extensive project experience with this standard, gained through our many years of automotive development.
Automotive SPICE
Automotive SPICE assesses the maturity level of software processes. We have successfully established and demonstrated process maturity in accordance with Automotive SPICE in numerous projects.
TISAX
TISAX® is the standard for information security in the automotive industry. We have successfully obtained certification and implement these processes in our day-to-day operations.
ISO 27001
ISO 27001 outlines the requirements for information security management systems. We are preparing for certification and are already strictly aligning our internal processes with these requirements.
EU 2021/821
The EU Dual-Use Regulation governs the export of dual-use goods. We carefully review each service to determine its classification.

Technological Expertise

Programming Languages & Frameworks:

  • Backend: .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core
  • Frontend & Mobile: Angular, ReactJS, Flutter, Swift
  • Process Control: Camunda, BPMN

Infrastructure & Cloud Environments:

  • Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Quality Assurance & Engineering Quality:

  • Test-Frameworks: xUnit, NUnit, Selenium, Playwright
  • Static Code Analysis: SonarQube (for code quality and security gateways)
  • Versioning & CI/CD: Git (GitHub / GitLab CI), automated build pipelines
  • Process Control: Scrum, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)

Long-Term Security

Software used in critical contexts has a lifespan of decades.
We build and maintain systems with these timeframes in mind. For our long-standing clients BMW and TÜV Süd, we have been supporting systems for over 20 years. For government clients, we take over systems from previous service providers as needed, without interrupting operations. Obsolescence management, migration, and long-term maintainability are integral parts of our work, not mere afterthoughts.
